Albert Einstein's desk at Princeton University, taken hours after he died on April 18, 1955. From a series of photographs taken by Ralph Morse for Life magazine. Other than this photo, the others were not published out of respect for the family's wish for privacy. The full series was published in April 2010 and can be seen here.
